Washing Machine Repair
Model Number: LSQ8543JQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II model # LSQ8543JQ0 washing machine. It will not agitate but will drain. Replaced Lid Swith Assembly 2 yrs ago. Motor runs. Could it be a belt or motor coupler or agitator assembly problem. Thanks.

Does it spin?
Will it agitate in another cycle?

The most common failure is the otor coupling. Usually you can confirm this by tipping the machine and looking at the area between the motor and the gear case.
