I have a GE Front Load Washer, model #WCHVH6600HBB that is about 3 years old. I've had nothing but problems with it - putting money in as much in repairs as the washer itself cost and still it's a piece of junk.

My current problem is what the wash load starts, the lock & unlock occurs and the barrell spins for a few minutes. No water is put into the tub (that I can see). The wash then unlocks & freezes. I've searched this site for recommended repairs and found the manual to run tests. Current error code E30 indicates a drain pump issue, however we have cleaned out the pump strainer, removed the pump to find no debris and checked (visually) the drain hose & outlet hose. Still the machine will throw this error code. However, the machine will run pump test (T05) just fine without issues. When we try to run tests T08 & T09 the machine won't even attempt the test.

Any ideas on what to try next (baseball bat is my last resort)? :)
