Hello, my washer is making a loud (scraping/rubbing) noise when running/spinning, I think it might be the suspension rod & Spring assembly as when you open the lid, the tub is all the way to one side, and when you push it to center, it just bounces right back and it was leveled all the way around with a level and it sits on a concrete floor, and when you try to tip the one side up to compensate for the lean, the tub still leans against gravity. How do I get the front cover off to see if the springs are bad, and does this sound like it could be the problem? PLEASE HELP

Insert a putty knife or similar tool into the space at the top of the front panel, right in line with the lid edges. While pulling out on the front panel, push in against the retaining clips to release the panel. It then lifts off hooks on the front edges of the cabinet.

Yes. from your description, I would suspect at least one of the spring and rod assemblies to be broken or dislodged.

Two screws hold the top at the front of the cabinet. The top will then raise up and rock away from under the console. The lid switch is either connected in the right corner, right at the console, or it pops out of the top to allow it to be swung out of the way. Everything should them be accessible.
