The washer does not agitate. It makes a funny sound and acts like it's trying to but doesn't. The top portion of the agitator will turn clockwise by hand but the bottom portion will not turn. It fills and drains okay. Any suggestions?

I would look at the DRIVE COUPLER, Its loated between the MOTOR and the TRANSMISSION. Wp part#285753A:)
