washer leaking above transmission assem
Model Number: lw8413w2 Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
already replaced pump due to leaking,but now water is leaking above transmission(seal between tub and water basin)?which seal,any help is appreciated.

This may be the part kit you need, but check with APP when you call in your order as they may be more than one kit for different versions of your model. If you give them your serial number they should be able to confirm the part for you.
Part number: AP4253981 Many times these are not easy repairs and you may need several specific Maytag tools, but there is a set of instructions with the kit. See if they can send you the instruction before you order so that you can be sure you want to tackle this repair.
