I am writing to ask for your help regarding installing a belt on my Maytag Washer, Model SAV405DEWW. I was able to purchase the belt on-line . The belt arrived, but did not give instructions as to the installation. I checked the model number on line and could not locate the schematics for that exact machine. When attempting to replace the belt, we cannot find a way to put the belt on without taking out the pump motor. In an attempt to proceed with that effort, we discovered that job requires a "torque"“deep well socket. None that we find are small enough to fit in the hole. We think it may require a”torque wrench", similar to an Allen Wrench, but do not have one, nor can we find one that size. Is there another way we should be attempting to put on this belt without having to go through all of this?
