Jeff, Your E3 code indicates, the control board is not seeing the proper response from the motor circuits. It could be due to : A loose wire A bad motor A bad control board A Worn tub bearing And possibly a slow drain / spin, due to sudsing If your sure there are no rumbling, sqealing noises when the tub is spinning, you used the proper amount and type of detergent, Then, It's easiest to make your circuit checks at the main control board, Do you have, or can you get a multi meter to check circuits ? Once you get the top of the washer off, and access the main control board Check the CN9 connector(red, white, blue, wires) for loose connection at board Check the CN8 connector(pink, orange, blue, wires) for loose connection at the board. Remove the rear panel and check the same wires at the motor connector. If or When you get a meter Part number: AP3873826 Your resistance checks to the motor, at the main control board are: (with the connector off the board, you will be checking the wires in the connector), At the CN9 connector, You will check each wire to the others for 2.5 to 3.5 ohms resistance (red to blue, red to white, white to blue white to red, blue to white). At the CN8 connector, You will check blue to pink for 4.5 ohms You will check orange to blue for infinite resistance You will check orange to pink for infinite resistance If you have these resistances, when you check at the control board harnesses, Your motor and wiring are fine and you'll need the main control board, Part number: AP4044326 Otherwise you'll need a motor Part number: AP4044351 As long as there's no noises from the tub bearing. Good Luck,
