Not much of a GE man myself, just don't see that many around here.
If you or anyone else finds the digital manual for this washer I too would be interested in seeing it.

Red face FYI on repair of GE washer

Well Thanks for Trying to help look for a manual.
The good news is i found GE was nice enough to put some repair and trouble shooting on paper inside the controll pannel tape to the back wall. That showed how to disassemble the washer and run trouble shooting.
THE BAD NEWS .. when the tub seal leaked it took out the lower bearing on the transmission break assembly that is sold as one unit as far as i can tell.
Don't know if its worth putting that kind money into this unit.
any idea's id like to hear them..well ive had enough fun for today.

I would not fix this washer, not worth it. I have one that is around 6 years old and the spin basket nut is rusted so bad I can't remove it.
Would appreciate if anyone knows how to remove this nut!!

the nut on the spin basket is a 1,11/16 inch lefthand thread. was rusted and unmoveable i dont recommend this !!!! But i cut it off with a 1/4 cold chisel and hammer. It took me an hour to carefully cut it off. Then i used a wire brush and thread chaser to clean up the shaft.
