leaking washer
Model Number: dlw330raw Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
as the washer is filling up with water at about 2" deep in drum water starts leaking out over the transmison. I cant see where its leaking from. Could it be the Oring theSeal or the Triple lip seal/hub??? And do I need any special tools to repair ? Any insight would be much appreciated!

This probably is the seal, and in the old days I could link you to a Maytag bulletin that would tell you how to replace it. Today Maytag has removed access to those bulletins, and given the difficulty of the repair I suggest you purchase a new machine. They are very aggressively priced and a basic top loader will do a fine job for you.
