I have a virtually new (I rent the house, and to my knowledge the washer was never used before I moved in a year ago) GE WWSE524OG1WW washer. I am a single person - the only one who uses the machine. I run maybe 2 loads a week of clothes. I've never put anything over sized or heavy in the machine; the heaviest thing I would say that I've washed has been a small throw rug of the type you have in front of the sink in the kitchen.

The last load I ran was 3 towels used to wash a very dirty dog. The cycles ran normally. When I put in the next load, the "start" button didn't start the cycle. I tried holding it in to reset - no luck. I then unplugged the machine and replugged it. Now all of the lights light up, but it doesn't start.

Any thoughts before I have to (a) call my landlord or (b) have a repairman visit?
