Model Number: mavt634aww Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Bought this Maytag Atlantis washer in 2003 and she grinds loudly during the spin cycle and I notice a little water on the floor after the spin cycle. So I'm thinking a Tub seal/bearing assembly kit:
Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Tub seal assembly, part number: AP4009444 My question, is this the right kit and does it include all the bearings that I need to replace (spin, thrust)? Thank you all, I've learned so much from you pros.... Ads By Google Related Models |

Remove the front panel and check for water marks at the tub seal, marks will verify bad seal and bearing.
Of ok, check for a bad water pump AP4373022 Replacing the bearing on this requires a bearing puller, not an easy job.

Checked spin cycle with front cover off and she leaks. looks like it is coming down between the plastic drum, where it bolts to the metal bracket that holds the transmission. Water pump seems fine.... so.... what seal/bearing kit do you recommend?
