As washer goes into the spin cycle a loud noise eminates from it. This almost sounds like a bearing. The motor was upgraded about two years ago. I would like to purchase the necessary parts for repair, but do not know what to look for. Thank you.

A bad rear bearing is one of most common and most serious problems with this kind of washers. This bearing comes only as a part of the outer tub assembly and is very expensive. Some people found the way how to replace just the bearing, but this job requires some special skills and takes 2 to 4 hours. There are many posts on our forum regarding this problem. - The outer tub assembly Part number: AP4028180
