So last Sunday my Maytag Neptune had the "dr" code on the screen. The machine would not drain and the pump was very hot. I removed the inlet hose and pulled out a piece of 12" x 1/2" silicone gasket material and a small chunk of cast metal but could not figure out where they came from. After the load finished we noticed the clothes were still very wet and it sounded louder than normal when running the spin cycle. After further investigation I found the drum/door seal was torn. I orderded a new seal (Door diagragm part # AP4044289) from here Sunday night and today decided to take it apart to see if there was anything else wrong. Upon removing the old seal I noticed that the inner drum seemed to be moving inside of the outer drum so I decided to pull the whole assembly so I could split the external drum to remove the internal drum. After removing the internal drum I found the tri-bar (Assy-frame shaft part # AP4044297) cracked on two of the three spokes so I ordered that from here today. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if there is something else wrong that I should be looking at?
