Model Number: LTF6000ES1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
When washer finishes cycle, clothes still wet. Dis assembled back cover area, to expose motor, belt, drain hoses and drain valve. Removed hose from drain valve, water came out. Started machine checked voltage to drain valve 88 - 89 volts a/c. Ran through spin only cycle drain valve not opening, Replaced drain valve. Monitered operation, washer not going into last / high speed spin cycle. Clothes still coming out wet, went putting in spin only cycle, drain valve opens, drum turns slowly, never speeds up....ANY SUGGESTIONS...all help appreciated

Dsteuve, Lets start with the simple, easy stuff first: When you insvestigated the drain system, did you also check the strainer/button catcher, in the tub to pump hose connection / housing ? (the strainer is inside the hose/housing that attaches to the tub outlet at one end, and the drain pump at the other). Are you sure the loading door is locked, and stays locked during the cycle ? ( you may want to check the door and door catch alignment for proper fit ). Are you sure the dispenser is closed completely ? (there's a "reed" switch in the control panel,if the dispenser is not completely closed shut, it will not allow a proper spin speed). Do you have a proper tumble speed in the wash cycle ? (rpm on a regular wash cycle is approximately 50 rpm ). Do you have access to a multi meter, so we can run resistance checks on components and voltage tests at the motor control board ? By the way, You need to check the wiring to the drain pump, you should have 120 VAC to the pump, not 88 or 89. (I'm surprised the pump runs at all) Hopefully you have a loose connection and not a bad control board, Drop us a line when you find the problem, or if you need more assistance. Good Luck,
