clothes washer
Model Number: 110.24852300 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
clothes will not spin. burning smell coming from motor so assuming motor is bad. Can you tell me how to remove the pump,motor gear housing assembly from the drum? I have removed the bolts that hold the gear housing to the drum. The assembly will move out slightly but it feels like there is something holding the shaft in the drum mechamism.
