Model Number: LSQ9645KQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Wife indicates cloths were wet at end of cycle. I set it at a low water setting and then try the spin on normal cycle. Water drains fine. No spin. Try the permanent press cycle. No spin. I move the basket with my hand and it starts going by itself. Spin is kind of slow and I can stop the basket with my fingers but it continues once I release the pressure. I try the normal cycle spin again. Works fine. Try the permanent press. Works fine. In both cases I can't stop it with finger pressure. Haven't tried with a load of clothes yet. Is this a symptom of the brake sticking or a clutch problem?
