Have Kenmore washer that seems like its out of balance. Took it apart and found a pin and a plastic tube that the pin sits in on the floor. Looked at the other 2 pins and they were still there but not going through anything. Put it back together with the missing pin and made it worse. Need help. Don't have a clue. Very confused.

Those are the shipping pins. They're put into place on the suspension to keep things steady while moving and installing the washer. When unpacked during installation, a cable is pulled out of The back of the machine. droppint the pins into those receiving cups.

Now, concerning your vibration problem: Did you happen to notice whether the tub leans to a side or front?
