Default Wire connection fo GE water drain pump
Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have installed new water drain pump for my GE TOP load washing machine 3.2 cu ft. I forgot the connection. There are 2 wires coming from control panel. I dont know which one goes where. One BLACK and one RED-White. Pl guide me.

A model number may help others help you.

I assume you did not find a wiring diagram in the unit.
If the motor is 120 volt AC then it should not matter which wire goes where.

I have 220-240 GE Heavy Duty washing machine. Which I baught it in USA and using it in India. Pl help me.

Sorry but I have no way of getting any information on this unit.

Perhaps someone else will jump in who has the required info.

It doesn't matter, just plug the wires in and it will work.
