The most common cause of this is a clogged inlet on the water valve. Disconnect the water supply hose from the cold side of the valve and inspect the inlet screen. If it isn't too badly clogged, you may be able to clean it with a toothbrush. Don't remove the screen, or use anything sharp to clean it. If it is too bad, replace the valve.

I have switched hot & cold hoses at the mixing valve, reversed wires at water temp. selector as well as mixing valve. Warm water selection allows cold water to mix with hot. When hoses are reversed at mixing valve and hot water is selected hot water flows through cold water connection. Is there a thermistor in system? If not could timer be defective ? ( water temp. selector has been replaced )

Please recheck your model number. Nothing comes up for the one you posted.

Nothing comes up for that model number, so I can only make an educated guess. If there is a thermister, that could be the problem. Either a failed thermister or a bad control board. If there is not a thermister, I would suspect something in the timer. Try it in every cycle.

I believe the following are your parts
Replacement parts for AMANA DLW330RAW Washer - Top Loading | AppliancePartsPros.com

Then all that is left is the water supply, the hose or the valve.

Normally your hot valve will have a much lower flow rate that the cold valve.
You get warm but on most units the water does not actually feel very warm just not as cold as the cold setting so if it feels warm then odds are you are still getting a low cold fill in this cycle type.

By the sound of it you are starting to go in circles which can happen when the symptoms are confusing.

Undo the hoses at the machine and run them into a pail.
The flows should be strong and equal.
If not:
Undo the cold hose at the tap and run it into a pail, could be that a piece of crud is partially blocking the tap or the tap has failed.
Some hoses include a screen filter in their sealing washers check for these.
The hose itself could be toast, sometimes they can de-laminate internally and reduce the flow.
If all OK then I would replace the water valve.

Since you are getting a trickle of cold water when it should, you know that the cold side of the water valve is getting power. These valves are either full on or full off and all that is left in the system is the valve.
