My Maytag washer won't fill on any cycle, although it works on occassion. the drum may fill halfway then drain, or no water will accumulate. Ive replaced the timer twice. Is there a solenoid operated valve to control the waterfill ?the water supply is strong entering the drum.

Is the top of the drain pipe(where the drain hose enters)37 to 39 inches up from the floor ? Is the Drain hose taped or sealed to the drain pipe opening ? Could you supply us with a model number Please, We can advise and direct you better with a model number.
