The control board on my Maytag Neptune Washer, SN 74990442ZY, lights up when powered, with the start/pause button flashing on and off, and the other buttons set to their correct functions. But the buttons are all frozen; none of them will respond when pressed.

If you're getting no response at all from any key press, you probably need to replace the touch pad.
