Cycle selector knob cracked - obtained replacement but no instructions included. Cannot remove fragments of broken know by screwing counterclock wise: how do I remove fragments and replace new know?

You may have to use a pair of pliers, and turn the the fragment slowly and carefully off the shaft, after you pull the shaft out and lock it in place. :confused: :confused: :confused:
