My husband and I are not very good problem solvers, especially when it comes to appliances.

Our front load washer was purchased 2 months ago. We thought we were overloading the washer but found out that is not the case. We tried very small loads and our washing machine still shakes and bounces. It sounds as if it is going through the wall! It is so loud. This is our first front load washer and we thought it was going to be so much more quite than our old machine. Someone asked us if we had made sure the washer was level. I don't know what that means...sorry if I sound dumb, I'm no plumber and I need help! Also there is a lot of water that gets trapped in the rubber seal in the front. Is that normal? Please help!

The water in the boot is normal...Now level means is the thing leaning to one side, does it rock when you push on it. All 4 legs must be firmly on the ground. Did you remove the 4 shipping rods at the back of the machine?

It also has alot to do with where the unit located and if you have it raised on the pedestal, If the unit is on crawl space or even worse if the laundry room is upstairs, you may be looking at normal vibration, the pedestal raises the center of gravity and upstairs the floor isnt supportive enough, leveling is very important and can be checked with a carpenters level. Start by turning all of the leveling legs all the way up, this will take care of the majority of floors. Then go from there
