Model Number: LST8244AQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
The washer may be less than 10 years, but it is fairly old.
Based on testing I believe I need to replace the water level sensor. In your database the part number is AP3072915. The on-line chat salesperson did not think that instructions came with the part. I would like to make sure that I can do the replacement before purchasing it. The electrical portion is easy. The only concern I have is the pressure tubing that connects to the part. Does there have to be any particular pressure in it when you put it on (e.g., does it need a vacuum or a certain pressure or certain amount of water in the tub when you connect it)? Also, is there any special glue or water sealant grease that needs to be used on the connection between that tube and the water level sensor/switch? Thanks. Ads By Google Related Models |
