We want to fix or replace the lid switch. We are told to use a putty knife to open Control Panel by unlocking 2 clips at the corners. Panel seems stuck & does not seem to open here.

That is a great video. We found the screws in back & removed them but still can't get the control panel to open. I just let the lid slam shut and it always completes the cycle.

Have you tried pulling the control panel forward a quarter inch or so and then flipping it up.
Some units do this. Your parts breakdown does show clips but sometimes units get parts from older or newer revisions so perhaps it does not have clips. |

Our problem with machine stopping after filling has been solved. I let the lid fall (slam) about the last 8 inches and after a couple of months it now starts normally.
