Our washer came from an auction so we don't know the age. It is a super capacity washer that works OK sometimes. Frequently, however, it does not fill. The knob that indicates the cycle does not advance either-which might be correct since the washer is not doing anything but leaking water. The water just leaks through, wasting water indefinately. What parts could we replace to fix this problem?
Frigidaire model FWS777GFSO does not fill.

You may have several problems, but first lets see about the leak.
Take off the front by taking out the screws at the bottom of the front panel and swing it out. Then operate the machine and you should be able to see where the leak is.
If it is leaking from the center I would advise replacing rather than fixing it.

You say it is leaking water, does that mean as it is filling it is draining the water, or leaking all over your floor?
