Need model # and make. If GE, the new style, good luck with that nut.You need a special spanner wrench to take off. It is a left hand thread, so you turn it clockwise. I have soaked mine in wd-40 and pounded as hard as I could and it never moved. Aluminum nut and steel spin basket and tranny spindle make a bad rust area for the nut to stick to.
