We had a lightning strike close to house and had some electrical problems throughout. Such as garage door needed resetting and garbage disposal. The washer will now not advance through the cycles. I have to manually move the dial to complete each cycle? Could it be the timer? How can I check before buying a new one at $150.00?

If the machine timer will not move but the machine will otherwise operate this suggests the timer is the problem.

If you buy from this site and the part does not fix your problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.
