Water dripping from bottom of tub over motor area not under pressure...I think I need to replace tub gasket. Here's what I've done...

  • Removed lid
  • removed tub cap
  • removed agitator
  • removed 4 bolts securing tub to motor
  • removed spin shock absorbers
I can see the black cap gasket that goes between the tub and motor are...I think this is the part I need to replace.
The metal basket needs to come out 1st and It seems to me I need a puller of some sort to remove the metal basket, which will allow me to remove plastic tub, replace with above gasket part, reassemble, and that should be the repair.

Is there anything I'm missing here? Will I need any additional parts? Do I need this puller or is there a trick to this step? The belt is way loose and worn so I plan to order this part also. Any part #'s would be good here too so I get the right ones the 1st time.

Have I got a clue what I'm doing? Thanks for the help.
