GSX 9885 JQO the control pannel, I can press the cycle I need, and then other times I can't get anything to come on , and then other times I have to press and hold the start button and the machine will default to a normal wash cycle with no way to change temp. or load size , or even the cancel button won't work. Also I can't get to the control panel to check to see if I have some loose pins in a wiring harness. Do I need a new control Panel?
How do I get to it? THANKS

Dkirks,

I wold suspect you have a bad touch pad assembly on the control panel,

Part number: AP3020684
Part number: AP3020684

To access the harnesses and wiring in the control panel,

You need to remove the two phillips head screws ( on the back side ) that secure the panel end cap to the top of the washer.

Slide the end caps and panel towards the front of the washer, until the tabs on the bottom of the end caps unlock fromt the top,

Raise the bottom of the control panel front, up and it will pivot on the hinge tabs on the back panel assembly,

You'll have access to all the wiring and components.

If you have no loose wires or connections, you can try and clean the plastic touchpad ribbon end with alcohol, re install it, and try to program the unit,if your problem persists, replace the control panel.

:) :) :)
