I have an Admiral washer model # LNC6760B71. I ordered a water pump from the web site for that model # the part that I got doesn't have the black plate on the bottom of the part like the old part has. The water pump matches with the hole pattern and shape. The water pump for the LNC6760A71 has a black plate on it but the shape of the pump is different. The hole pattern on the plate looks right, but the plastic pump housing looks different.Do I need the pump with the plate or do I use the one that I have that matches without the plate. It looks to me that the plate may just be a dust shield.
