Washer Repair

Hot and cold water are correctly connected to the machine. When running cold cycle, hot water fills the tub; when running hot water, cold water fills. So I reverse the hot/cold hose connections on the back of the machine and everything works fine for the next 5 or 10 loads. Then cold cycle is hot, and hot cylce is cold. So I reverse the hoses on the back again and everything is OK for the next 5 or 10 loads. This keeps happening again and again ... each time I reverse the hoses on the back it works ok for awhile. Is this likely a problem with the main valve where the hoses attach, or a board problem, or something else?

Cannot say I have experienced your problem, but I think the issue is with the control board and not with the valve assembly.
