I purchased a new house and all appliances were included. The Amana washer is approx. 7 years old and has a very sluggish agitation. Also, when heavy materials (i.e. jeans, blanket, etc.) are washed the agitator will completely stop at times. And on spin cycle it makes a screeching sound until it gets into full spin.
