Has anyone replaced the drum bearings and seal for this GE front load washing machine? I see where others have replaced them in the Frigidaire, Maytag, and Kenmore models. Just trying to avoid buying the entire drum assembly for several hundred dollars (will switch to a top loader instead).
I am looking for manufacturer and part numbers for 2 drum roller bearings and the seal. GE cannot provide these... Thanks...Bob

Given the huge amount of problems with this model and the lack of technical data released by GE I strongly recommend you follow that path of replacing the machine with a nice, basic top loader.
