Stewman, Everything is normal so far, except the squeak, Did you check and make sure the motor tension spring is in proper position and maintaining pressure on the motor. Part number: AP4027842 Is the bottom slide plate and motor slides clean and free of dirt, dust or debris ? Did you check the belt and motor pulley for bad, or burnt spots, that could be causing the noise? If you've done all these checks, and the noise is definitely from the motor, I would have to think, a bad motor bearing, under stress. Good Luck,

first thanks for getting back to me. What I failed to mention is I just bought the machine used. Previous owner explained the little problem
so one of you think that it is probably motor tention spring. Owner said he couldn't get screws or nuts located on bottom of machine to hold motor tite causing belt to get loose changing tub spin revolutions, looking at part list for motor assembly I see locking nuts wonder If they are striped haven't torn into it yet. Does this still sound like motor tentioning spring if so how do I get a diagram showing me where and how each part fits. |

Stewman, To be honest, the parts diagram in our parts order screen is a very good rendition, of the breakdown and parts location. Have you actually used the machine and heard the noise ? Did you check the pulleys and belt, as I reccomended in my previous post ? Let us know, please.
