My Whirlpool Duet washer is shaking like crazy, I pulled the back cover off to inspect the pulley and belt, the back of the washer near the bearing is covered in rust colored water, I ran the washer with the back cover off and the pulley was shaking back and forth and there was water coming out to the weep hole. Can I just replace the bearing without replacing the entire back tub?

Check your warranty, I believe the tub is guaranteed for 10 years. If this where any other front loader, the electronics would have blown out by now, still I would get it fixed soon.

Thanks, I was able to get the rear tub and stainless basket no charge, they were trying to tell me I had to use their technicians for labor, I argued with them for a while that I already had it out and they reneged on the labor.

I got the parts yesterday, put it all together and everything works fine, I just have one wire I can't remember where it goes, it's a green/yellow wire that attaches one leg of the lead to the back of the rear tub on the bearing housing, there is another lead that comes off that wire, I thought it went to the drive motor but I can't find a connection on the motor for it. Any ideas??
