I have purchased two timers in one week to fix my washer and neither one will work what is the problem? I can plug the old one in and it works but I have to turn it manually.

Are you orderring the correct part

Part number: AP4024921
Part number: AP4024921

Check the white tag on the timer, the numbers on the new timer should be the same as the original timer.

We may have a wrong part in the box.

Also check and make sure , all the terminals in the timer block harness are seated and locked in place before you attach the harness to the timer.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)
