Hey all,
My ge washer is a year and a half old and starting to give me problems already. I am in the process of trying to get the agitator out and I can't get the cap off under the fabric softener cup. It has 4 raised spots on the plastic in the shape of an x. How can I remove this cap to get at the agitator nut so I can tighten the agitator as it has come loose?
From the beginning, I have had to load the washer up and pack all the clothes down tight. Could my dampening straps be worn out? are they supposed to be tight from the factory? because mine allow the whole tub to flail around and move the washer till it slams into the dryer if you dont load it right. Any help would be great,
Thanks
Mike
