spin cycle not working.Clothes remain wet, does not appear to be spinning.washing machine sounds like it is working.

Remove the front panel. Check the belt and hoses to and from the pump for a clog. Remove the tub cover (#13 on the break down diagram) and, using a flashlight, check for a foreign objects between the inner and outer tubs.
