Model Number: GHW9100W1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Whirlpool Duet washer that doesn't drain anymore. The pump runs and makes a ticking sound. I have taken the pump apart and the impeller feels very loose on the drive shaft. I'm not sure if this is to allow larger bits of debris to pass thru the pump or if its no longer attached to the shaft. I can't pull the impeller off the shaft with reasonable force.
Drain discharge pipe is not blocked. Water flows freely from tub thru filter housing. Any suggestions? Next step I'm thinking is a new pump, can't find one though without the filter housing attached. Ads By Google Related Models |
