Model Number: WSXH208V1WW Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hi. My latch broke so I bought the latch and noticed the receiving end where the latch goes into is also hanging by a thread. I looked up that part and it is the Door lock assembly. Has anyone ever replaced it? How time consuming/hard and what are the details on how to get in there?
Also, machine was purchased in 1999. Looking at about $200 total to replace the door catch and lock on my own. I replaced the rubbber drum gasket-the thing that connects the drum to the front of the machine that the door sits next too about a year ago and all seems to be fine with the machine. Thank you for any insight! Ads By Google Related Models |
