Hi. My washer ends a rinse or spin cycle by stopping the drum abruptly, as if it was an emergency stop from a lid opening . The coupler was broke, and maybe it's a symptom of the disease! Does anyone know if there's a control for coasting-down? Perhaps in the timer? Thanks for any replies..

Check your brake it may be grabbing causing the abrupt stop.
