Model Number: LAT8433AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
A couple months ago, I replaced the tub seals and center bearing on this washer. Working well with the exception of if it has a heavy load (usually bath towels) that it will spin wildly banging into the front panel during the spin cycle. It also seems like the tub has more play than it used to. I ordered new springs and are going to put them in. Can you provide any advice on how to uninstall and install the three new springs. And do you think these are the most likely cause of the problem. It never happened before I relaced the seals and perhaps stretched them out. Any advice?
