Model Number: MAH5500BW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Ok, long story short in the bottom of the bladder of the washer there is screw - I swear it wasn't there a couple of months ago and now the washer doesn't drain completely. Should there be a screw there or just a hole - I can't find any pictures and don't want to pay someone to tell me I'm crazy... If there is supposed to be a screw there it is supposed to screw into anything?
Thanks and hoping I'm not crazy, Brian Ads By Google Related Models |

It is probally a screw from a pocket of someones clothes you washed, the drain issue could be a few things, use less soap, now that they have introduced HE 2x concentration, sudsing can cause poor draining, also you may have some debris in the drain pump area, that would require removing the hoses to find out. Make sure yourdrain hose isnt pushed too far down the standpipe at the wall, could cause siphoning of the fill.
