Dryer shuts off after about 20 minutes
Model Number: WSM2700TCWWB Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hi all...hope someone can help
From a previous post I gather that this stacked dryer/washer was make by Frigidaire for GE. Anyway the the first time the dryer is used for the day it may run 20-25 minutes then shuts off regardless of what setting is used. The clothes are not dry. If you push the bottom to restart the dryer immediately after it shuts off the machine will just buzz but not start. If you wait maybe 5 minutes it will start but it will shut down again but maybe in only 15 minutes. If you wait till it cools down and restart it will sometimes run only 10 minutes. Also the coils will sometimes be bright orange...is this normal? It sounds like a thermostat but what do I know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ads By Google Related Models
