Maytag Neptune Wash Continues through Spin Cycle...

We inherited a 5 year old Maytag Neptune front load stacker when we purchased our home in 2007. Just the other day we opened the door to find wet clothes with a little pool of water at the bottom (not much water). So the follow troubleshooting began!
1) Can hear the pump pushing water into drain. 2) Door locks, light comes on. 3) Can hear the tub spin up then stop then spin up during spin cycle (Odd??). 4) Pulled pump, no blockage in hoses, drain or pump 5) Tested pump and it spins up nicely 6) Put everything back together and ran spin cycle with the back panel off. Seems that the tub spins slowly to the right for ten seconds then the left for ten seconds for the entire spin cycle but NEVER speeds fast in one direction. 7) Looked at the Control board for over 20 MINUTES for bad circuitry, and R11 is not burnt, nor is any other resistor or circuit.
The bottom line issue seems to be during the spin cycle, instead of spinning up to speed it simply continues with the usual left / right wash movement.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
