Whirpool washer

Model Number: wtw57esvw1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

My washer will not start filling when I turn it on. It starts agitating then will fill while still agitating. It seems like the knob is set wrong-- how do I reset it?

Mine did this once. I had to buy a new timer. Hardest part was just pulling the machine out to change it. Unplugged old timer and plugged new one in. I think mine was like a $25 fix.
