Frigidaire Washer - Loud noise during spin cycle
Model Number: GLWS1339CS1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Frigidaire washer (Model #GLWS1339CS1) that suddenly started making a very loud screaching noise during the spin cycle. Any suggestions as to what it might be? Belt? Idler pulley? Tub bearing?

The washer has stopped making the loud noise. In total, it made the noise during two spin cycles and hasn’t done it since. We’ve done approximately 6 loads of laundry since the noise stopped with no problems.
