Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/20/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		this is an easy fix pull the top off the agitator reach in and pull the stopper plug thats inside.you will see the plastic "dogs" that walk around the inside of the top agitator there is gear teeth around the inside edge that the dogs use. remove the bolt in the center and pull the top agitator off.the dogs and coupler can be replaced and the agitator reinstalled.Its easy I just did it.now the washer works great again and it cost about 20.00 for the parts and since I did not charge myself labor that was it.:D

I ordered and installed the agitator repair kit for my washing machine and viola! Problem solved. The installation was very easy thanks to the exploded view of the entire agitator assembly, which is on this website. Thank you again.

My biggest problem is that I cant seem to get the agitator off to look under and see what might be wrong. Ive pulled pretty hard thinking it might just pop off and it doesn't. Is there a tool or something to get it off?
