that number is the part number for the pumpo on your washer. the model number will be on the washer, raise the lid about 3/4 way you should see it under the himge area.

The model number is 11 numbers long and will look something like this 110.20702990, from the part number you posted earlier I'm going to say it's made by Whrilpool and it's probably a clutch, coupler, brake or transmission problem.

Kenmore spin cycle does not work, water does not empty out
I have a top loading kenmore washer. Model 110 20422 990
It fills, washes, but the spin cycle does not work. Please help
